Are you looking for work, need advice about universal credit or want to find out more about training opportunities in your local area?

Pop along to our free Jobs and Skills Fair on April 6.

The event is taking place at Flitwick and Ampthill Sea Cadets Hall, Althorp Close (off Hinksley Road).

There will be staff from Central Bedfordshire Council, Aragon Housing Association and the local Job Centre on hand to offer advice and support on getting work and how universal credit works.

Running from 2pm to 4pm, the event gives you the chance to meet local employers promoting their current vacancies, book a training session for employment support and get up to date information about apprenticeships.

Cllr Carole Hegley, Executive Member for Social Care and Housing, said: “Trained advisers and industry experts will be there to offer guidance, so come along and find out how you can secure new opportunities or learn new skills, it’s completely free and you’ve got nothing to lose.”
