Among a fantastic array of fun attractions, river events and stalls, visitors could watch dragon boat racing and a wonderful parade of boats on Saturday.

Beautifully decorated boats included themes of The Beatles, The Snowman and even a ‘performing gorilla’!

Sunday’s colourful parade down the High Street drew spectators all along the route - a new day for this event to help local businesses.

The Heritage Village, which included a World War One Commemoration Village on top of Castle Mound, with a range of activities and events to recognise 100 years since the outbreak of the First World War, proved a popular family attraction.

Jet Boots Bob was another star performer on the river itself on Saturday and Sunday, with shows throughout both days.

The weather held out into Saturday evening as the crowds watched the wonderful illuminated flotilla of boats, and huge audiences enjoyed a full programme of live music.
