A free exercise class is being held in Bedford Park this weekend to mark a fitness campaign.

British Military Fitness (BMF) is launching a National Outdoor Fitness Day on Saturday, May 31, with the class at 10am.

BMF has been helping thousands of people across the UK including many in Bedford transform their health and fitness providing fun and fitness for excerise rookies and fitness veterans alike.

Ex-Army Intelligence Corp, Pete Gill, will lead the sessions and invites everyone living or working in the local area, who wants to get fit for the summer to try a class for free.

After the first session there will be three weekly classes scheduled to take place three times a week on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 9pm and Sunday mornings at 9.30am.

Pete said: “After serving in the Army Intelligence Corps, becoming a personal trainer was a refreshing change.

“I’m excited to bring my knowledge and expertise to British Military Fitness, and the people of Bedford.

“I hope to see lots of eager faces looking for a new challenge, or wanting to get fit and healthy for summer.

“And of course I’ll make sure they have fun whilst doing so.

“BMF is perfect for those people who need something different from their fitness programme.”

Pete added: “No class is ever the same, you will be motivated and will achieve your goals.

Anyone wanting to try a free National Outdoor Fitness Day BMF session should visit to find their nearest class and register for their trial session.
