Girl suffers head injuries after collision involving car

A young girl has suffered head injuries after a road accident involving a car.

Magpas Helimedix Doctor Nick Foster and Paramedic Dan Phillips were called to central Bedford via the Magpas Rapid Response BMW after a collision involving a child and a car at about 8.50pm on Saturday evening, April 19.

The Magpas team assessed the patient who who not thought to suffer any life-threatening injuries.

The Helimedix then accompanied the little girl in a land ambulance to Bedford Hospital for further observation.

On arrival at the hospital, she was in a stable condition. Her family were at her bedside.

An EEAST Ambulance Crew and the Police were also present.
