The first of four episodes of TV auction show Flog It, which were filmed at the picturesque Wrest Park, will be aired on Friday, December 12 at 4.30pm.

The BBC One antiques programme, presented by Paul Martin and aired at 4.30pm, was filmed at English Heritage’s Wrest Park over the summer.

Features on the house and its history will be included as well as serving as the impressive backdrop for the valuation day before selected items were taken to auction.

Members of the public were invited to bring along up to three antiques and collectables for valuation.

Once priced up the owner and a team of experts decided whether the object should go to auction. The chosen items were included in a sale a few weeks later at Tring Market Auctions.

Series producer Louise Hibbins said: “Paul Martin and the entire Flog It team were really pleased to bring the show to Wrest Park.

“We always receive a warm welcome when we come to Bedfordshire.”
