Father Christmas on his way to Ampthill’s big festive lights switch on

An afternoon of fun for all the family will lead up to the big Christmas lights switch on in Ampthill.

The festive event, this Sunday, November 16, from 2.30pm, will involve fun fair rides, stalls, performances and refreshments in the town centre car park.

Father Christmas will be in his grotto taking festive orders from little ones at the NatWest Bank car park from 3pm.

Bedfordshire Lace and Redbornstoke Morris 
will perform on the Market Square from 3pm and will be followed by Dancestarz Cheerleading.

Maurice Kachuk – star of the Parkside Hall pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk – will then take to the stage in the run up to the switch on at 4.30pm.

The Fairies ‘N’ Frogs toy shop will be giving away free flashing wands to the first 50 customers after 3pm.
