Farm blaze in Shortstown

Units from four stations at the scene

FIREFIGHTERS are currently tackling a blaze at a farm in Shortstown.

The fire, which is belived to be a standing crop fire, it being fought by crew from Kempston, Bedford, Shefford and Ampthill.

The Times & Citizen understands that the blaze is in a field close to a children's play area.
