After last year’s sell out success, this year the company gives Sleeping Beauty the magic treatment in a show featuring fabulously comical costumes, spectacular sets, luscious lighting, superb special effects and magnificent music provided by a live band.

As an added thrill, every child in the audience is invited on stage to join the cast in a sing-a-long making it a special day for everyone. There will be the usual gags and slapstick with plenty of chances to cheer the goodies and jeer the baddies, and shout ‘its behind you’.

A spokesman for the company said: “This is traditional, family pantomime at its best making Sleeping Beauty great, affordable fun that won’t break the bank.

“All profits from the shows are split between funding next year’s show and local children’s charities and since we started we have raised more than £18,000.

“This year we are supporting the Faces charity whose aim is to support families with children. Everyone involved in producing the show or appearing in it gives their time for free, nobody takes a wage, we are all volunteers who are just crazy enough to love bringing laughter and joy to Bedford at Christmas year after year.

“Last year we completely sold out most shows and are hoping to repeat that this year so make sure you get your tickets early or you may just miss out on the biggest, most spectacular show in Bedford of all year.”

Family tickets are £40, adults £15 and children £10 for all shows and seating.
