A Bedford estate agent has received an award for Outstanding Customer Service.

27 year-old David Stow, who works as a lister for haart estate agents on St Loyes Street in Bedford was singled out by the directors of the UK’s largest independent estate agent at the company’s recent Quarterly Awards.

David, who only joined haart at the start of the summer, was nominated for the honour by a customer who had written to haart complimenting him for being ‘accommodating, helpful and very knowledgeable’ when he came to value her property, so much so, that they didn’t ask any other estate agents to value her house because they felt ‘David actually cared about helping me’.

The award caps an extremely positive few months for the haart branch in Bedford since the arrival of new manager Barry Butler and his four-strong team. Together, they’ve sold in excess of £6.2 million worth of property in Bedford and the surrounding area between July and September. They have also recently been joined by a dedicated lettings division headed by John Tomsett.

David Stow, lister for haart of Bedford said: “It’s a real honour to win this award.

“It is only given out by the company when a member of staff goes that extra mile for a customer so I am over the moon to be recognised in this way.”

Barry Butler, branch manager for haart of Bedford added: “David is an absolute credit to the team and like everyone here in Bedford prides himself on being able to offer what we believe is the best customer service available from an estate agent in the town.”
