Farmers and landowners will be quizzing Mid Bedfordshire parliamentary candidates on rural issues ahead of the election.

Countryside organisation CLA East is hosting a debate with Nadine Dorries (Conservative), Charlynne Pullen (Labour), Linda Jack (Lib Dem), Adrianne Smyth (UKIP), and Gareth Ellis (Green).

CLA East regional director Ben Underwood said: “We want everyone who lives and works in rural areas to make the most of their vote.

“This event offers a great opportunity for people in Bedfordshire to engage with their local candidates and make sure they hear their voices, loud and clear.”

The free event takes place at Old Warden Park, Biggleswade, on Tuesday, April 14, from 4pm to 6pm.
