Soap star lends his tendertones
Actor, dancer and all-round heart-throb Matt Di Angelo loaned his skills to the Bedford Sixth Form this month, as the college travelled to London to record its new radio adverts.
Matt is the voice behind a series of Heart Radio adverts, which are currently pitching the new college to listeners and prospective students.
And if Matt’s tones sound familiar then don’t be surprised - he spent two years playing Deano Wicks in Eastenders, and was twice named runner-up in the Sexiest Male category at the British Soap Awards.
The sometime model may also be familiar from having starred in BBC show Hustle, and was runner-up to Alesha Dixon in the 2007 series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The Bedford Sixth Form is part of Bedford College. Marketing team members Claire Wright and Matt Ruckwood have been working on the radio campaign to encourage students to sign up for A-levels and BTECs at the new centre in September 2013.
Its adverts were recorded at Heart studio in London’s Leicester Square and the radio campaign focuses on the values of The Bedford Sixth Form: Aspire, Believe, Achieve, Succeed.
