Schoolchildren turned the air blue for charity when they joined in with the annual Blue Hair Day.

Great Denham Primary School pupils went to school with their hair coloured blue and wearing blue clothes.

They raised £300 for Harrison’s Fund to fight Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a fatal genetic disorder that affects children. Head Teacher Denise Burgess said: “It’s a charity very close to the hearts of everyone at Great Denham and we are delighted to do our bit to make a contribution to support this important fight for sufferers everywhere.”
