A new play equipment area - known as a trim trail - was unveiled by some proud pupils at Cranfield Church of England Academy during a grand opening ceremony.
The newly built facilities were paid for with monies raised by various fundraising activities held by the school’s PTA including summer fetes, quiz events and raffles.
The new furniture is phase one of a larger development project at the establishment.
Jo Dormer, deputy headteacher of the school which educates 285 children between, said: “The children are very excited about the trim trail.
“They are really looking forward to playing on it - they can’t wait!”
