Redborne School Sport Partnership have won the prestigious Sport England Exceptional Levels of Participation Award for the area’s strong involvement in the Sainsbury’s School Games.
Partnership Development Manager James Stephenson collected the award at the School Games Organiser Network National Summit at Kettering Conference Centre from Olympic, World and Commonwealth 400m gold medallist Christine Ohuruogu.
The award is directly linked to the number of schools who have achieved the Sainsbury’s School Games Kitemark.
The Kitemark rewards schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community, and an incredible 38 schools in the Redborne SSP area received the Kitemark.
