Pupils at Mark Rutherford school got behind the wheel a little early last week - to learn more about driving safety.
Duke and Duchess Driving School bosses Donna Harding-Adi and David Walker-Adi presented an emotive and hard hitting road safety DVD which was produced by BRAKE the road safety charity.
The pupils then took part in a two-hour driving session on the school’s tennis courts, together with a basic car maintenance session and safety lessons.
Donna, who presented certificates to everyone who completed the course, said: “The main message we wanted to get across was to change the attitude of young drivers before they turn 17 and start learning to drive. We want them to understand the responsibility they have when driving a car, and be more aware.”
