Doctor Who talk will help Foodbank
Bafta-award winning special effects designer Mike Tucker
will be talking about his work on the iconic series at a talk in Bedford. As well as blowing up Daleks, since joining the production team in the 1980s Mike has flown the TARDIS, sunk a submarine under attack from the Ice Warriors, built the Dalek Emperor – and crashed a spaceship into Big Ben. His talk, at The Quarry Theatre, St Peter’s Street, on Saturday, November 7, is in aid of the Bedford Foodbank, which is currently feeding between 500 to 600 people in the Bedford area every month. Tickets are £5 on the door, or from [email protected]
Mike will be signing copies of his new book in Bedford Waterstones from 3 to 5pm.
