Shoppers in Bedford will be able to find out more about Climate Week, a campaign to inspire people into action to create a sustainable future.
The climate change campaign is running this week until Sunday, March 9
and to support this fourth year of action, Bedford Borough Council will be holding an information stand in the town centre, in the Howard Centre (outside TK Maxx) on Wednesday, March 5 from 9am until 3pm.
Visitors can find out how to reduce their energy and water bills, reduce and recycle waste, and find out about alternative transport options.
Mayor of Bedford Dave Hodgson said: “Climate Week offers an excellent opportunity for anyone to find out more on how they can reduce their impact on the environment and save money.
“If you have any questions, or believe you could do that little bit more, then why not come along and speak to us?”
