A man in his 30s was stabbed in Bedford on Boxing Day afternoon.

At around 4pm on 26 December the victim, an Asian man, was walking along Woburn Road, Bedford when he was approached by three men. As they passed him one said something to his companion and the victim saw a kitchen knife and felt a pain in his ribs.

The three men then ran off.

The victim was taken to hospital and was found to have been stabbed.

The attack happened near or outside the St Francesca Cabrini Church in Woburn Road.

His attacker is described as white and wearing a black hoodie and black coat.
