A man has suffered multiple stab wounds after being attacked in an alleyway

The victim was walking down an alleyway between Hockliffe Road and Fenlake Road at 9pm, on Monday (June 8) when he was approached by a person who stabbed him numerous times and robbed him.

Det Sgt Craig Laws said: “Fortunately the stab wounds were superficial and the victim is likely to make a full recovery.

“However, this could have been a lot more serious so it’s vital that we catch the person responsible.

“I’d urge anyone who witnessed the incident, or who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, to contact us immediately.”

The man was taken to Bedford Hospital after being found near Fenlake Road.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Bedford CID on 101, text 07786 200 011, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
