Man injured after attack on Elstow Road - police seek witnesses to violent argument

A man suffered an injury following an attack on Elstow Road, Bedford.

Police are looking for independent witnesses to the incident which happened on Elstow Road, Bedford, where the man received a fractured wrist.

The incident happened on Saturday, December 28 in the early hours of the morning when the victim, aged 33, was walking along with another man.

At the junction with Conquest Road, near the MK Food and Wine store, a loud argument broke out which ultimately resulted in a physical confrontation.

The victim ended up on the ground and was kicked, but managed to get himself home.

Waking up the next day, still in severe pain, he went to hospital and had to have an operation to treat the broken wrist.

Police are now looking for anyone who saw/heard the violent argument which was conducted in Polish and English to find out the detail of what happened.
