An appeal has been launched for information about two men who threatened another man with a knife as he walked in Bedford in the early hours.

The victim was approached in Laburnham Avenue, by two men at about 4.30am, last Friday (October 2).

The men threatened the victim with a knife and one of them punched him.

PC James French said: “This was a shocking incident and we’re appealing for anyone with information to contact us. The two men are described as Black, and wearing dark clothing.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC French on 101 quoting reference, “31 of 2 October”.
