Can you help catch man who groped a woman as he got “intimate” with his partner on a coach?

A woman travelling on a coach was sexually assaulted by a man as she moved seats to get away from him and his partner.

The incident took place on a number 41 Stagecoach travelling from Northampton to Bedford.

The victim was made to feel uncomfortable by a man and woman who sat near her and started being intimate with each other.

As the she got up to move away, the man groped her.

The man is described as white, around 6ft tall, of slim build with short brown hair and five star tattoos on the left side of his face.

The woman is described as white, around 5’9”, slim with hair in a ponytail. She also had faded tattoos on her face.

Officers are appealing for information following the assault on Tuesday (15 March) at around 7pm.

Detective Constable Chris Avery said: “This assault was unacceptable and we are committed to finding the person responsible. This couple are reported to have been behaving in a sexual manner and I would appeal for anyone travelling on this coach to come forward with information.”
