Appeal for information after man stabbed with kitchen knife

Police are appealing for informationa after a man was stabbed in Bedford on Boxing Day.

The victim, who is in his 30s, was walking along Woburn Road at about 4pm on December 26. As he passed the St Francesca Cabrini Church, he was approached by three men.

As they passed him one said something to his companion and the victim saw a kitchen knife and felt a pain in his ribs. The three men then ran off.

The victim was taken to hospital and was found to have been stabbed.

His attacker is described as white and wearing a black hoodie and black coat.
