An air rifle was stolen during a burglary in Stotfold on Sunday.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the break-in in which the air rifle and some some watches were stolen.

The incident happened at a property in Stotfold Road between 10am and 1pm on Sunday (17 April).

Detective Constable Claire Case, investigating, said: “I’m appealing for anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in this area at the time to get in touch, as well as anyone who may have been offered the watches or an air rifle.

“In particular I’m looking to speak to a smartly-dressed man in a grey car who was seen outside the property just after 10am. He may have witnessed something that could help us with our investigation.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC Claire Case on 101 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
