A couple have decked out their house with festive lights to help raise funds for Sue Ryder’s St John’s Hospice.

Liz and Graham Mayles have decorated their home in Hall End Road, Wootton, with everything from reindeers to inflatable snowmen and Santa is even on the roof.

Money raised from the display will be going to the Moggerhanger hospice.

Liz said: “We have had several friends who have been cared for at St John’s over the years.

“It’s lovely to see the children getting so excited and helping a great cause at the same time.

“My mum had cancer many years ago and for this year’s lights we really wanted to support a local charity and that’s why we chose Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice.”

Not only is the house and garden almost completely covered in festive lights but there is Christmas music playing.

So far the couple have raised £100 for charity.
