Talented Flitwick cellist Daniel O’Brien raised £400 for mental health charity MIND at a candlelit concert at Flitwick Parish Church.

He’s become a passionate supporter of the charity through his late friend Becki Luscombe, who was a MIND ambassador and also a gifted musician. Both went to Redborne Upper School and played for the Ampthill Concert Orchestra.

The Flitwick concert was Daniel’s first solo performance since completing his degree at the prestigious Birmingham Conservatoire.

He took part in a skydive for MIND in February and said he was just as nervous before the concert as he was then.

He has now raised more than £1,000 for the charity.
