An Ampthill company has stepped up to the bar to
sponsor the search for the Best Microbrewery category in this year’s Bedfordshire Food & Drink Awards.

Trademaid, based in
Station Road Industrial Estate, is one of the UK’s fastest-
growing suppliers of wholesale professional bar supplies, catering disposables, restaurant equipment and kitchen essentials to the catering, hospitality and leisure industries.

Trademaid managing
director, Alan Clarke, said he is delighted to be part of this event which showcases some of the best food and drink
venues in Bedfordshire.

Alan said: “As a nationwide supplier to the industry, we see a wide variety of venues across the country and are always proud that Bedfordshire represents some of the best independent food and drink
establishments. Good luck to all the nominees.”

The Best Microbrewery category in the awards is looking for brewers that use local ingredients and produce ales that both connoisseurs and occasional drinkers are proud to sup. In all the categories in the Bedfordshire Food and Drink Awards, some 187 businesses from across the county have been nominated.

The winners are being
decided by a public vote online at www.bfda.co.uk
