Expert's tips on how to help hedgehogs
Hedgehog expert Hugh Warwick giving a talk in Turvey about what people can do to help halt the species' decline.
In the 1950s, Britain had about 30 million hedgehogs but by 1995 there were only 1.5 million left. Their numbers are thought to have declined significantly since.
Turvey Bloomers chairman John Warwick said: “We do have a few hedgehogs in Turvey and we want to learn more about them and what we might do to encourage their numbers.”
