Expert's tips on how to help hedgehogs

In the 1950s, Britain had about 30 million hedgehogs but by 1995 there were only 1.5 million left. Their numbers are thought to have declined significantly since.

Turvey Bloomers chairman John Warwick said: “We do have a few hedgehogs in Turvey and we want to learn more about them and what we might do to encourage their numbers.”

The talk starts at 3pm on Saturday, May 14, in in Turvey Village Hall. Entry £3 with accompanied children free.
