An informal gathering of classic cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles is being held over the bank holiday weekend.
The beautiful setting of the National Trust’s Willington Dovecote and Stables is the venue on Sunday, May 29, from noon until 5pm.
Visitors are welcome to take picnics and the nearby Church of St Lawrence will be open where teas and light refreshments will be served. Visitors can also enjoy an organ recital from 3pm until 3.45pm.
Admission is free to the event, but a donation to the National Trust towards the upkeep of these beautiful buildings, survivors of a unique Tudor manorial complex, will be greatly appreciated on the day.
Commercial vehicles are asked to book but otherwise just turn up.
The organiser is Mervyn Askew on 01234 838409 or email email@example.com
