Two children’s workers will be pounding the streets of London to raise money for a kids’ charity. Luke Cunniff, deputy manager of a St Christopher’s children’s home in Kempston, his colleague Ryan Mighton, a residential children’s worker at the home, and a 16-year-old girl who lives there, will all be taking part in the British 10k run on Sunday, July 12, to raise money for St Christopher’s Fellowship.

St Christopher’s runs children’s homes – three in Bedfordshire - fostering services and 16+ accommodation. With Department for Education support it is opening two “Safe Steps” children’s homes in London this summer to keep girls at risk of sexual exploitation safe.
