A bank holiday special is being brought to Esquires in Bedford, courtesy of The Pad Presents.
CC SMUGGLERS will be making a return to the club on Sunday, May 3 as part of their spring tour to promote the release of their new six-track EP, Write What You Know.
The last 12 months has been an incredible one for the Shefford lads, seeing them play nearly every major UK festival, from Glastonbury in June, to Bestival in September. They have also been recording new material, had a sellout tour early this year and some new summer festival dates to set them up for this summer.
The CC Smugglers sold out their last appearance at Esquires last November, and so with this gig being a Bank Holiday it is set to be another great night and early purchase of tickets is advised.
Special guests taking the middle slot is The Ouse Valley Singles Club who return from their maternity leave to kick off their summer season of gigs and festivals. Fresh from their latest track Girl From The Fens going viral on social media, expect some airings of some new material and some old Valley faves.
Opening this show, and fresh back from recording her second album in Nashville, Danni Nicholls will be bringing her signature blend of American roots infused songs spanning old school country, blues, soul and folk pop.
Tickets are on sale priced £8 through We Got Tickets and Seetickets.com.
Tickets will also be available in person in Bedford from Planet Boutique in The Arcade and Danny’s bar at Esquires, and in Kempston from Mario’s Hair Design, with no booking fees at these venues. Doors open at 7.30pm.
