A chocolate flavour with a difference is being sought by a Bedford chocolatier - as part of a special competition.
In conjunction with the team at Castle Quarter, and the Bedford Community Boat - Per Norrgren has devised a competition to create a river-themed treat.
The winning chocolate is being launched in honour of the new community boat, so
Entries are being asked to have a theme which reflects the riverside history of Bedford.
The best three entries will be chosen by Bella Cacao owner Per, and a panel of judges at The Cheese Kitchen on October 11. And the winning chocolate will be unveiled at a special afternoon tea cruise on October 29.
And all entrants need to do is think of a fantastic name and flavour for a chocolatey treat - Per will do the rest by making up the chocolates with his special equipment.
The winner of the competition will receive two free tickets to the afternoon tea which will run from 2pm til 4pm.
And as part of that event Per, who will be the cruise’s special guest will give an informative talk about chocolate - before the delicious winning entry is served.
So if you think you have got what it takes to be crowned Bedford’s chocolate champion get involved!
Application forms are available from The Cheese Kitchen, on Castle Road or to find out more visit www.thecheesekitchen.co.uk.
The entry closing date is September 30.
