A pub is offering Bedford’s Macmillan nurses a free roast dinner every Sunday throughout May to thank them for their hard work.

The Bull on London Road, owned by Greene King, is inviting all Macmillan nurses to enjoy a free roast dinner every Sunday in May as part of the pub’s Macmillan May fundraising drive.

International Nurses Day is on Thursday, May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth, so is a special month for nurses around the world.

To claim the meal, Macmillan nurses and professionals need to present Macmillan identification when placing an order.

Macmillan is the pub company’s chosen charity and this is one of a number of activities that the Bull will be running this year to support the charity.
