Haymax relief for sufferers

editorial image

RESEARCH in one man’s Ampthill kitchen could provide relief for hayfever suffers across the globe.

A 2012 study on a pollen barrier invented by Max Wiseberg shows that the pollen barrier balm HayMax blocks out over one third of pollen particles.

The study follows a 2009 test which found that HayMax does trap more pollen than an uncoated nostril.

Grass pollen is the most important allergenic pollen type in the UK as research indicates that 95 per cent of people with seasonal allergic rhinitis are allergic to this group.

Within the allergic rhinitis group 25 per cent of sufferers are allergic to tree pollen. To get a full picture grass and tree pollens were selected during the tests to replicate a high pollen count.

HayMax costs £6.99 for a 5ml pot, and is available from www.haymax.biz
