These cuts are on top of £17million already consulted on last year.
Over the last five years, the council has made savings of £62million and it now says the latest series of proposals will concentrate on the way the council works internally, while improving access to services electronically for those that want it.
As well as the proposals, residents are being encouraged to suggest ideas about how further money can be saved and provide value for money in the ‘Innovation Challenge’.
Cllr Michael Headley, portfolio holder for finance and asset management, said: “We are particularly focusing on reducing bureaucracy and back office costs again as we seek to protect the services that our residents rely on the most.”
The Budget Challenge 2015 consultation closes on Monday, November 17.
All responses will be considered at the Council Executive which follows on Wednesday, December 3.
