Fifteen different hot dog flavours featured in a fundraising event for children’s charity CHUMS.
The menu ranged from the fiery ‘Dangerous Dog’ to the easy-going ‘Cool Dog’ and the couples’ ‘Date Dog’.
The event was held by The Chequers, in Westoning, to support the Silsoe bereavement charity.
Owner Philip Kelly said: “Our charity events for CHUMS are great fun and we always have fantastic support from the local community.
“We are aiming to raise £3,000 by October. With what we raised from the Hot Dog extravaganza we have more than £2,100, so are well on our way.”
The pub is now planning a burger extravaganza, a Christmas carol service and pancake night. For more information go to www.thechequerswestoning.co.uk
