Spring is here, and the John Bunyan Community Boat will soon be back in action to help you enjoy the warming days on the waterways.

This will be the fourth season that the boat has ferried passengers, and the 2016 programme - starting on May 1 - will feature a range of routes, with trips cruising from starting points including Priory Marina, Sovereigns Quay and the town centre.

Should you wish, you could take a trip to The Barns Hotel for Afternoon Tea, or enjoy a Saturday evening onboard tucking into a Fish & Chip supper.

And jazz fans will be pleased to learn that the Thursday evening Jazz Cruises - featuring top class musicians - are also making a return.

The John Bunyan Boat has a capacity of 50 passengers and is run by a team of well-trained volunteers, in support of the Bedford & Milton Keynes Waterway Park Trust.
