More than 100 budding artists entered a competition run at Milton Ernest Garden Centre entitled Autumn Canvases.
The quality of the entries made it a hard choice for the judge, local artist Leigh Hopkinson.
There was a children’s class with first, second and third all receiving artists hampers with everything they need to get creative. Cameron Campbell took first prize for his inventive painting of a conker.
The winner of the adults class received a £25 garden centre voucher.
The canvases were auctioned on Saturday, October 31, raising £75 for Canine Partners.
The garden centre thanks all those who entered and looks forward to seeing next year’s creations. Cameron is pictured with his prize and conker picture.
