Bedfordshire Police arrest “dumb” burglar
A wanted burglar showed light fingers do not equate to high intelligence, when he accidentally turned himself in.
The man in his 30s, from Lower Caldecote, was arrested by officers in Bedford on Tuesday, after stopping a PCSO and asking for the time.
He was wanted for failure to appear at court, and for recall to prison.
The man was described by officers both as a “prolific offender” and “dumb”.
