Bedford pupils host hair raising fundraiser for hospital

Castle Newnham Primary School care club turned itself into a hairdressing salon for charity this week.

The children, aged between five and nine-years-old, dressed and coloured each other’s hair to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Castle Newnham Principal Ruth Wilkes said: “It was great that the children did this for such a fantastic cause.
“They obviously thoroughly enjoyed themselves giving each other a bad hair day.”
