Bedford’s dedicated art, culture and events magazine is making a comeback in paper form from Friday.

The Bedford Clanger has been web-only for about a year but a surge in support from contributers and advertisers has meant it can return to print.

Editor Erica Roffe said: “We are really excited about the relaunch, which has come about through taking on a new business partner, and a renewed enthusiasm to promote the great things which go on in Bedford.

“We want to share the good stuff happening in this town, as it is easy to focus on the negative.”

Since its launch in 2011 as an eight-page fanzine, The Bedford Clanger gained a dedicated following across town for its comprehensive listings and features.

Last year, the magazine moved to a web-only format.

It will now be published monthly, with the first edition outlining its “New Year Revolution” which encourages people to shop local, visit museums, and go to live music and theatre.

It will be available from outlets across Bedford including public libraries, Coffee With Art, Animal Studio and The Higgins Museum.
