The road is closed
Bedford’s Union Street is being closed while emergency repairs are carried out.
In a tweet from Bedford Borough Council only 15 minutes ago (Tuesday), it said the road was being closed as an emergency on the southbound side of Union Street, outside Oliver Court.
It’s thought there is a suspected sinkhole developing.
