Author and private tutuor Bel Ravenne is hosting a book launch party this weekend, with a signing session next week.
Bel (Annabel Louise Walker), who lives in Ravensden, has just published her novel Spectrum Shift, a sci-fi fantasy story aimed at 9-16-year-olds and is set in a contemporary world where riddles going back over 100 years play a part in helping two children get home.
Journey underground with them and travel from city to city as the mystery unravels and the children begin to learn what has happened.
Discover how Latin is linked with the mystery and help Evan and Louisa as they explore the ancient city of St. Albans.
Bel. 24, will be holding the party at Waitrose Bedford on Saturday, December 7, from 6pm-8pm. There will be a costume competition, magic show and balloon modelling.
Bel will then be at Waterstones in Bedford on Saturday, December 14 for a book signing session.
Admission is free and funds will be raised in support of the Keech Children’s Hospice.
