The bright lights of London’s glittering art scene have beckoned Bedford artist Sue Hall.
Sue, of Thor Drive, has been invited to display two of her paintings at Lights in the Winter, an exhibition of international artists taking place La Galleria Pall Mall, in central London from Sunday December 8 until Saturday December 14.
Sue’s works Brainstorm 1 – Head Space, and City Lights 6 attracted the attention of curator Zina Bercovici who asked her to join artists from as far afield as Morocco, Italy, Denmark and Thailand in the exhibition.
Sue is one of only four artists to represent Great Britain in the exhibition.
“It is a great honour to be part of such an exciting, high profile event,” said Sue, who also has several works on permanent display at Riobello restaurant in St. Mary’s Street, Bedford.
“Zina curates exhibitions all over the world so this is a great opportunity to expose my work to a wider audience.”
It has been a highly successful year for Sue who, in April, won a place in the final stages of the Saatchi gallery in London’s online’s Showdown competition.
Lights in the Winter is open from 10am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday, and 11am to 5pm on Saturday. Further information at suehallart.co.uk
