Appeal for witnesses to fatal road crash
Motorcyclist killed in collision with truck.
Bedfordshire Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision on Thursday night.
It involved a Honda 750cc motorcycle and an Iveco recovery truck, and happened at 10.10pm in Shillington on the B655 Hitchin Road, 160 metres south-west of its junction with the C146.
The male rider, who had been travelling towards Hexton from the direction of Barton, was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver, who had been travelling in the opposite direction, was unhurt.
A full collision investigation is underway.
