Air ambulance team treat woman following cardiac arrest

An air ambulance crew were called to assist a woman in her 40s who suffered a cardiac arrest last night (Wed, April 6)

The incident happened shortly before 8pm near Fliwick with paramedics from EEAST Ambulance Service administering CPR and lifesaving support. The Magpas team anaesthetised the patient, providing her with advanced A&E level care at the scene. They then accompanied the woman by land ambulance to Luton & Dunstable Hospital, where she was in a serious but stable condition upon arrival.
