Bedford Dramatic Club’s latest production brings one of Alan Ayckbourn’s most popular and well-loved shows to the town.
A comedy of misunderstandings and mistaken identity, two couples cause the reliable Ayckbourn mayhem in a well-constructed play with developed and interesting characters, each of whom – along with a pair of men’s slippers – provide a riotous night of confusion and hilarity.
Relatively Speaking is Bedford Dramatic Club’s 257th production since forming in 1929 and celebrates 85 years of going strong in Bedford.
The club recently held a celebration party in the town to mark the landmark year. Directed by Anita Day, it is one of the first productions at Bedford Dramatic Club’s new venue, Trinity Theatre.
The theatre is located at the old High School, now the Bedford Sixth Form, Trinity Arts and Leisure, Bromham Road, Bedford, MK40 2BS.
Performances run from Wednesday, September 24 until Saturday, September 27 with shows starting at 7.30pm.
