A chance to engineer your future

Youngsters interested in a career in engineering are invited to an interactive open day next month.

The event at Millbrook Proving Ground is aimed at students aged 14-18 who want to know more about vehicle engineering and future technology.

Run by the government’s Department for Business, Innovation & Skills (BIS) ‘See Inside Manufacturing’ initiative, the day will offer a rare opportunity to experience ‘behind the scenes’ automotive engineering at one of Europe’s leading test and development facilities for whole vehicle, components and systems.

Students will have the opportunity to meet Millbrook’s apprentices, undergraduates and graduates who have already made careers into the automotive industry.

The careers day will be held on Tuesday, September 11 at Millbrook Proving Ground, from 9.30am. Parents and teachers are also welcome.

Anyone interested in attending should email smmt@millbrook.co.uk
