A birthday party fit for a Queen

Children at Cotton End Primary School celebrated the Queen’s special birthday with a party.

“All the children came to school dressed in red, white and blue, and made crowns to wear for the occasion,” said headteacher Karen Headland.

The children paraded around the playground and sang Happy Birthday Ma’am and The National Anthem, with bunting, flags and balloons setting the scene.

Then they enjoyed party food in the playground with a feast fit for Queen, of course!
