The re-opening of an historic hotel has created 40 new jobs in Bedford.

The De Parys Hotel, in De Parys Avenue, is relaunching as d’Parys next month after a £1.3million development by new owner Apostrophe Pubs.

The building now houses a restaurant, bar and boutique hotel.

Apostrophe Pubs managing director Alfie Molinaro said: “We advertised 40 full and part-time vacancies and the response has been fantastic with hundreds of applications coming in.

“While most vacancies have now been filled, going forward we will still be looking for the best local talent with creativity and enthusiasm for providing a first-rate service to join our team.”

d’Parys is officially opening on February 24, but people can find out more about its recruitment drive, and attend exclusive preview events by becoming ‘a friend’ of the hotel, at www.dparys.co.uk
